KULI and Environmental Protection
Taking responsibility for society has always been an important part of the corporate philosophy of KULI Hebezeuge - Helmut Kempkes GmbH. One of the key focuses of our corporate development is the continuous improvement of our environmental and resource efficiency. Our aim is to balance ecological and social considerations with economic requirements.
Through the continuous development of our products and services, we support our customers in implementing energy-efficient lifting solutions tailored to their specific applications. The actual potential for energy savings depends on the respective operating conditions and usage.
We are also implementing measures to reduce energy consumption at our own company site. For example, the lighting in our administration building and production halls has been converted to energy-efficient LED technology. In addition, we have replaced conventional welding transformers with modern inverter technology. These measures have resulted in a measurable reduction in our energy consumption and have contributed to a more efficient use of energy throughout our operations.
Our approach extends beyond the efficient use of energy and also includes the responsible use of resources such as water and materials, the prevention and recovery of waste, as well as compliance with applicable environmental legislation and internal corporate compliance requirements.
To further develop our environmental management activities, we participated in the ÖKOPROFIT 2015/2016 project in cooperation with other regional companies. The project was supported, among others, by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the major cities of the Bergisches Land region, regional economic development agencies, and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
As part of the project, we introduced an environmental programme tailored to the specific needs of our company. The measures implemented demonstrably reduced our energy consumption and improved the efficient use of resources. We regard these activities as an integral part of our continuous improvement process and our commitment to the responsible use of environmental and natural resources.
